Josh Powell Art
Josh Powell is a painter, sculptor, and drawer. He prefers to mix the three and work mostly as a mixed media artist. His mixed media work can be found anywhere from large canvas to gallery walls and even out in the public eye. He has earned a Bachelors in Fine Art from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Josh works very fast, at times working on more than one piece at once. He generally has somewhat of an initial plot to each piece but mostly works intuitively. Josh wants people to convey a sense of powerful emotions through his 2d/3d narratives. He works mainly amongst the three surrealists rules; juxtaposition, transformation and dislocation.
